The Evil Crown
by Kaitlyn

Once upon a time long ago lived a good King. He had himself made a crown that would do what ever he wished. But what he didn't know was that the sorcerer who made it put a spell on it that made the person who wore it selfish, cruel and evil. When the crown had been given to him he thanked the sorcerer and put on the crown.

Instantly he was evil. He ordered his wife to get fifty lashes with a whip and his son to be tortured. His wife and son died. But he didn't care. Anyone who didn't do as he said well let's just say it wasn't pretty!

One day a 13 year old boy who was fed up with the king went straight to the castle past the guards and into the throne room. The king was sitting on his throne.

"KING I AM FED UP WITH THE WAY YOU TREAT US! He yelled. "AND I REFUSE TO LISTEN TO YOU!"

The king chuckled then he said get the stretching machine. Then minutes later the boy was on the stretcher. And the king yelled to get the boys family then soon the family arrived they all cried as there little boy was pulled apart (literally). Then the father who couldn't take it any more threw a rock at the king but missed and knocked off his crown. And instantly the king became back to normal. "What happened and oh my goodness this boy why is he all pulled apart!" He cried. "Because I put a curse on the crown said a voice from behind a curtain. Then he sorcerer who created the crown stepped away from the curtain and there he was smiling. The family was confused then they understood the sorcerer had done this he had made the crown to make the king evil.

"YOU!"Screamed the king.

"Your wife and son are dead!" Chuckled the sorcerer. The king was furious. He had the sorcerer locked away and the crown thrown into a cave which he hoped no one would enter. But the king got so upset one day he did away with himself. And one day a girl playing near the cave discovered the crown and bad things started happening.
